Do you accept insurance?

Yes! I offer insurance coverage through The Clinic YYC. If you have any questions about coverage, feel free to reach out to your provider or email reception at info@theclinicyyc.ca.

I’m a new patient inquiring about booking! When can I expect a response?

I spend most of my time in the clinic treating patients, so I may not be able to respond to new inquiries right away. I appreciate your patience and will get back to you as soon as I can!

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 48 hours in advance. You can cancel directly through our booking system, Jane, or email reception at info@theclinicyyc.ca. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full appointment fee. Thanks for understanding!

How should I prepare for my appointment?

I always recommend having a meal or snack beforehand to keep your blood sugar stable—acupuncture can be quite moving, and this helps prevent lightheadedness. If it’s your first time, try not to schedule anything too strenuous afterward. Take it easy, hydrate, enjoy a nourishing meal and rest post-treatment.

Should I come in if I’m feeling sick?

No. If you’re experiencing flu-like symptoms (fever, sore throat, body aches), please reschedule your appointment. I have a few patients who are immunocompromised, so it’s best to wait until you’re feeling better before coming in. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out!
